Rocket Dog is an extension of your home—a warm, welcoming space where dogs are treated like family, daily routines are honored, and enrichment, safety, and play are at the heart of it all.
My love for animals began early, growing up in California in a house that was always full of furry friends. My late mother had a deep love for them — she was the first to open our doors to strays who simply needed a place to belong. She taught me that animals are family, and every single one deserves a life filled with love and care. That legacy lives on here at Rocket Dog.
After college, while studying for the LSAT and working for a mediator in Seattle, I realized how hard it was to leave my dogs each day. I knew I wanted something different—for them, and for me. So I hatched a plan to be a full-time dog mom… and it worked!
I left my job and started taking my dogs—and their best friends—to the park. Just us, a leash, and the joy of being together. That joy quickly grew into something bigger. I brought them home, gave them space to play, rest, and simply be dogs. Boone experienced the joy I was feeling abound the dogs too, and it didn’t take long until both of us dog nerds became full time caretakers together. What started as a few happy pups evolved into a full-time passion and a loving, trusted space for daycare and overnight stays. This has never felt like a job for us. Caring for dogs is so deeply woven into our daily lives and we are so thankful for it.

From the beginning, this has never just been a job—it’s been a calling. These experiences led to a heartfelt belief that caring for dogs should come from a place of love, friendship, and mutual respect. That belief became the foundation of ROCKET DOG—our gold standard of care and a tribute to the special connection between dogs and their people.
Every pup at Rocket Dog is part of our extended family. The love, attention, and trust we share with each dog (and their humans!) is reflected in everything we do—from playtime to bedtime and every moment in between.
